Vision – Does the artwork present or reflect a point of view, theme or idea?
While I do feel as if that this piece reflects the Stark half quite well, I feel like the Lannister half should have more of a 'fiery' feeling to it, rather than the 'summer' feeling I got from it.

Originality – Is the artwork fresh or new in its style, execution or approach? Is it something you haven’t seen before in its particular genre? Does it surprise you?
I'll admit it, I rated down a bit because of there being both a canine and feline present. Let's face it, felines and canines are a bit overused. The theme of fire and ice isn't a new one as well.

Technique – Was the artwork skillfully created? Does the artist exhibit advanced knowledge of the medium and/or bring special focus to the craft of the medium used.
I do like the general style of this piece. The grass however, I feel is the major part that still looks somewhat unprofessional. Everything else manages to looks professional without looking entirely realistic, through the style of shading and coloring used, but the grass looks slightly more stylized than if you had just used a Photoshop brush and placed it on the piece.

Impact – Does the artwork resonate with you or evoke strong emotions? Does it make you think? Does it blow your mind?
The piece does bring an impact in how well drawn/colored it is, but I'm not getting much emotion from it. I think the background kind of isn't giving the same feeling as the characters are. It seems passive in a way.

Final Thoughts
A very well drawn and colored piece, with emotional characters, but a bit is lacking in the background's energy when compared to the direwolf and lion. Maybe more contrast should be used between the winter half and summer half? Perhaps the summer half should be more intense, so as to better to capture the title's theme, A Song of Ice and Fire?

Love the series, looking forward to getting my hands on the first season of the show and excited for the second season in production.

This image is very amazing! I love the color affects and the way you shaded it. I also adore the background. And now for a little critique. I hope it's okay. ^^

You have a good ida on the anatomy, but I see a couple common errors with the lion.

For one thing, you made the sheath of the lion in the same place you'd find the sheath of a male canine, when in fact, all felines have their sheath a lot shorter, more-so in the form of a ball, more towards under the tail than the belly, where you have the lion's sheath placed. See this example photo bellow as a great example of how the "privates" of felines are formed.

Also, to me the heels of the lion are quite high...see this photo if you don't see what I mean. If I am wrong on the heals, then please forgive me. XD

I must also state that the lion is quite short when it comes to the length of the torso. Lions are usually quite long and have a more bulgy-belly feel to their torsos.

And the final thing I'd like to point out is how tiny the lion looks. Lions are usually larger than wolves. If this lion was truly to be this small compared to the wolf he's fighting, he'd still be in hi cub stage, and just starting to grow out his mane.

That's all I can really point out for now, despite the fact both animals lack shadow under them. This is an amazing image though. Keep up the gorgeous work!
